便秘の定義は、 72 時間以上、便通がない状態にあること、あるいは、便の量が少なく硬いというような便通に問題がある場合とされています。

トイレの習慣は、年齢や体重、食生活によって異なりますが、3日以上お通じがなければ、つらい問題でしょう。

このような便秘は大したことではないと思われがちですが、実際のところ、便秘は慢性化しないように良いタイミングでの治療が必要です。

また、便秘の原因となる基礎疾患も調べる必要があります。

便秘の多くは、水分不足や偏った食生活、体を動かさない生活が原因である場合がほとんどですが、治療が必要なさらに深刻な健康上の問題である可能性があります。

本記事では、市販品に頼らずに穏やかなお通じを促す便秘改善術をいくつかご紹介します。

1.アロエベラジュース

アロエ

アロエは健康に良い成分が内側にも外側にも豊富に含まれている植物です。

アロエから抽出したジュースを毎日飲むことで、腸内がきれいになり、老廃物の排出も改善されます。

アロエ成分のアロインは、便秘改善を促す働きがあるとされています。

2.りんご

便秘改善に役立つ食べ物にりんごがあります。りんごには、ペクチンという物質が含まれていて便通を改善する働きをします。

ペクチンとは、あらゆる植物に含まれる天然の多糖類です。ゼリー化する成分のため、果物を煮るとペクチンが水に溶け出して、糖分と一緒に煮詰めると果実の中の酸との作用によりゼリー化しジャムが作られます。

また、水に溶けるタイプの食物繊維なので整腸作用があり、下痢や便秘の予防に効果的です。

オハイオ州立大学の医学部が行った研究データでは、りんごには、便を柔らかくし老廃物を排出しやすくするために必要とされる食物繊維もたくさん含まれていると報告されています。

3.バナナ

バナナは美味しいフルーツですが、美味しいだけでなく、消化を助け便通を改善してくれます。バナナに含まれる十分な量の食物繊維が、自然な排便を促し、老廃物を排出しやすくしています。

1本のバナナで、1日の摂取量として推奨されている食物繊維の12%を補うことができます。また、フラクトオリゴ糖という消化されずに大腸まで届くオリゴ糖を含んでいるため、より効果的な消化を促します。

4.緑茶

5.オート麦

便秘に悩む人は、毎日の食生活にオート麦を取り入れることをお勧めします。

6.亜麻仁
